Marriott International has reached an agreement with Al Qimmah Hospitality to develop five new hotel projects across Saudi Arabia.
The hotel giant’s expansion plans include the addition of more than 2,700 new rooms in Jeddah, Makkah and Madinah, under four of Marriott’s most recognizable brands, including JW Marriott, Four Points by Sheraton and Element Hotels.
The deal also includes the Saudi Arabian debut of Four Points Flex by Sheraton, which will be located in the Al Amariyah district of Madinah.
The other four properties include JW Marriott Jeddah, The Apartments, Four Points by Sheraton Shesha, Makkah, Four Points by Sheraton Madinah King Fahd Road and Element Madinah Sultana Road.

Marriott currently operates 44 properties and over 11,000 rooms across 13 of its brands in Saudi Arabia, boasting 100 combined open and pipeline hotels in the country.
