MSC Cruises will debut a slate of new family entertainment experiences at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve beginning in January 2026.
Ocean Cay, MSC Cruises’ private island in the Bahamas, is a former industrial site that now features eight beaches and a variety of water activities. The new activities will complement the existing offerings such as snorkeling, paddleboarding and jet skiing.
A wellness and sports program will feature two professional coaches leading daily sessions for guests.
Activities will range from yoga and functional training to specialized options such as a fire-and-ice challenge with hot yoga and cold-plunge ice baths. A variety of sports, along with sound meditation, will also be offered.
An augmented reality treasure hunt will lead guests to wooden sculptures around Ocean Cay that can be scanned to reveal more information. Each of these points will be part of an educational treasure hunt, with each location focused on a specific ecological challenge.
A LEGO pop-up at the Welcome Pavilion will feature seven LEGO® mascots along with the MSC Cruises mascot, Doremi. The interactive setup will give families an additional activity option as they arrive on the island.
