Travelers flying through Sin City now have an ultra-luxe retreat where they can relax before boarding their plane.
Chase has just opened a new Sapphire Lounge by the Club location at Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport (LAS), and it features opulent amenities like a Champagne parlor and cuisine by Chef David Chang’s Momofuku restaurant group.
The new two-story, 4,590-square-foot oasis opened on December 3 in the airport’s Terminal 1, Concourse C post-security.
Additional spaces within the lounge include a quiet zone with moveable laptop tables, a signature bar offering locally inspired cocktails and wines selected by wine retailer Parcelle, and a dining area with menu items curated by Momofuku, including spicy cucumber salad, crispy nori potatoes and Momofuku’s famous pork bun.
The Las Vegas lounge’s Champagne parlor area is the first of its kind for a Chase lounge. Inside, travelers will find bar carts offering sparkling beverages, including glasses of Champagne, mimosas, and a selection of spritzes. There will also be passed bites offered to guests at their seats.
“When you’re on the road, finding a meal that makes you feel taken care of is huge,” Chang said. “We’re proud to partner with the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club to make that happen here.”
Throughout the space, travelers will find design touches meant to reflect the glitzy nightlife Las Vegas is famous for, as well as more subdued homages to the region’s surrounding desert landscape.
“Las Vegas is renowned for its vibrant energy, world-class entertainment and diverse culinary scene—qualities we’ve brought to life throughout the lounge,” said Dana Pouwels, Head of Airport Lounge Benefits at Chase. “From the champagne parlor to thoughtfully designed spaces for productivity as well as our signature bar, our newest lounge gives travelers a taste of the city’s luxury and excitement, making their journey as memorable as the destination itself.”
Complimentary access to Chase lounges is afforded to travelers with the following credit cards: the Chase Sapphire Reserve, Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business (primary cardmembers), J.P. Morgan Reserve®, and The Ritz-Carlton™ Credit Card (primary cardmembers and authorized users). Travelers with the Sapphire Reserve, Sapphire Reserve for Business and J.P. Morgan Reserve cardmembers can also bring up to two guests per visit for free and additional guests for $27.
The location at LAS is the eighth Chase lounge to open its doors to travelers. Chase currently operates seven lounges in the U.S., including locations in New York (JFK and LGA), Phoenix (PHX), San Diego (SAN), Washington, D.C. (IAD), Philadelphia (PHL), and Boston (BOS). The company also operates one international lounge in Hong Kong (HKG).
