New Resorts in The Mexican Caribbean
Alila Mayakoba, Riviera Maya

Alila Mayakoba is opening in Riviera Maya in late 2025 as the brand’s first entry into Mexico and the Caribbean. The 182-room adults-only property boasts 60 acres of mangrove and freshwater canals, creating a picturesque resort for travelers to love. The wellbeing program offers garden-to-table dining, beachfront gatherings, temazcal ceremonies, sunrise cacao rituals and more.
Kimpton Tres Rios Riviera Maya
Opening next summer is the Kimpton Tres Rios Riviera Maya, an all-inclusive luxury stay set within a nature park. The 355-suite resort offers a sustainable stay with private plunge pools, multiple dining venues, a spa, and plenty of experiences on-property, including lagoon kayaking and walking along scenic mangrove trails.
Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres
Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres will be Ocean Signature Resorts’ flagship adults-only resort which is now open for 2026. Located just north of Cancun in Costa Mujeres, the beachfront resort will offer 599 suites with private terraces, two resort pools, a lazy river, a wave pool and rooftop infinity pool, eight dining concepts and ten bars, sports courts, spa and more.
The St. Regis Costa Mujeres Resort

The St. Regis Costa Mujeres Resort will open in Quintana Roo’s Costa Mujeres in the middle of next year. Accommodations range from rooms with private terraces to Signature Villas, while guests enjoy the height of a luxury resort stay with St. Regis Butler service. Amenities include an infinity pool, beachfront cabanas, several dining options and more.
TROBBU Mérida
Opening December, 2026 is TROBBU Mérida. Located just fifteen minutes away from the international airport, it offers 25 single-story villas with three bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms centered around a historic manor dating to 1750. The unique property offers a regional restaurant, a spa and sauna, cigar bar, wine cellar, library, kids’ room and play area and more. The villas themselves feature their own kitchens, living rooms, dining rooms, private pools, sun decks and more.
Casa Nizuc, a Tribute Portfolio Resort & Spa, Cancun
Casa Nizuc will open as a Tribute Portfolio Resort & Spa in the summer of 2026, located within Aldea Nizuc in Cancun. The nature-focused resort will offer several dining and drinking venues, meeting spaces, a pool and more. Several room configurations provide private terraces and sunrise or sunset views.
Baja California Sur
Amanvari Resort and Residences, Baja California
Amanbari Resort and Residences is set to open in Costa Palmas in Baja California next spring. The exclusive resort will offer just 18 rooms and a collection of residences. The property will offer the Aman Spa, swimmable beach, dining venues, a yoga pavilion and access to Costa Palmas’ amenities, including a marina and Robert Trent Jones II Golf Course. A short drive away in Cabo Pulmo, known for snorkeling and diving.
Puerto Vallarta
The Westin Playa Vallarta, an All-Inclusive Resort

Opening next May is Westin’s first all-inclusive resort in Mexico. The Westin Playa Vallarta, an All-Inclusive Resort will be an upscale, personalized resort several dining venues, a biophilic design from Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos and several room and suite configurations, including private plunge pool suites and adults-only swim-up rooms.
Siari, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, Riviera Nayarit
While Siari, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, officially opened in late November of 2025, this luxury resort deserves a highlight. Located in Riviera Nayarit within the 920-acre Nauka private reserve, it’s a coastal gem designed by an award-winning Mexican architectural firm, offering 91 sanctuaries for guests. Siari offers five dining destinations and an expansive 28,000-square-foot wellness center.
