Norwegian Cruise Line is rebranding with a new national TV campaign and brand identity, becoming the leader in freestyle cruising, focusing on anytime dining and entertainment offerings. The new tagline? “It’s Different Out Here”.
NCL’s brand platform was developed in partnership with Arnold Worldwide. The new campaign will focus on the line’s mission to make traveling and reconnecting with loved ones easy, and how travelers can be fully present onboard.
The TV campaign commercial, “For All Maritime,” is a cinematic narrative focusing on the line’s freedom and flexibility. The rest of the campaign will be dispersed throughout digital, social and radio methods.
“This is a pivotal moment for Norwegian Cruise Line. We’re not just launching a campaign – we’re re-anchoring our brand in the values that have always set us apart: freedom and flexibility,” said Kiran Smith, chief marketing officer of Norwegian Cruise Line. “For nearly 60 years, NCL has been an innovator, and this transformation honors that legacy while meeting the expectations of today’s guests. Delivering on this vision takes trusted partners who understand our DNA, and Arnold has helped us bring it to life in a way that is authentic, and unmistakably NCL.”
NCL is planning to launch its 21st ship this year, the Norwegian Luna, as well as open new enhancements to Great Stirrup Cay, like the Great Tides Waterpark.
