Rail Europe added complimentary days to the Swiss Travel Pass, with first-class travelers receiving one free day when they purchase four-day passes and two free days when they buy eight-day passes.
The offer is available for travel between October and March.
“The Swiss Travel Pass is an all-in-one ticket: unlimited travel by train, bus and boat, panoramic journeys, entry to more than 500 museums and free travel for children under 16,” Rail Europe said.
In other developments, Rail Europe named Siebe Gerbranda to the position of vice president of product.
“With over 15 years of international experience across Europe, Africa, Asia and the US, “Gerbranda has successfully led teams to scale digital products, improve monetization and ship fast in high-growth settings,” Rail Europe said.
In his new position, which takes effect on Oct. 1, Gerbranda “will lead the global product organization with three clear priorities: make the end-to-end experience simpler for travelers and partners, increase the reliability and speed of delivery and develop talent and ways of working so teams can execute with focus,” Rail Europe added.
