Riviera Travel has unveiled a new digital learning platform for travel advisors.
Called Riviera Explorer, the platform offers training experiences designed to help travel advisors sell the line’s European river cruises. Advisors can explore six different modules ranging from an overview of Europe’s major rivers to in-depth lessons on Riviera’s fleet, solo travel options, group offerings, grand tour and the company’s hotel, flight and transportation offerings.
The training consists of videos, key highlights, quick facts and quizzes. Travel advisors can move through three levels of training: freshman, senior and graduate. Once they complete all of the modules, which should take four to five hours, they can earn the title of “Riviera Graduate” and will receive a certificate of achievement. More modules will be added in the future.
The platform also includes resources like brochures, window posters, social media post templates and other tools to help advisors sell Riviera Travel’s products.
To celebrate the launch, Riviera Travel is offering 20 FAM trip spots to advisors who complete every module by September 30. Advisors will be automatically entered to win a spot on one of two European river cruise FAM trips in 2026, with 10 advisors on each sailing.
