Signature Travel Network’s non-profit arm, Travel Elevates, unveiled its 2026 Global Impact Grants for 11 community projects in 10 countries.
Travel Elevates, which is the brainchild of Signature Travel Network CEO Alex Sharpe, took root in 2019.
“Our grant program has grown significantly over the past few years, both in terms of recognition and impact on underserved communities,” said Signature Travel Network CEO Alex Sharpe. “Signature members now frequently visit or plan itineraries that include tours and volunteer opportunities at many of the community projects we support,” he added.
This year’s roster of Global Impact Grant recipients hailed from a wide range of countries, including India, Kenya, Peru, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, South Africa, Colombia and Mexico.
They included the Women’s Skill Center & Entrepreneurship Hub (India), in partnership with Abercrombie & Kent (A&K) Philanthropy; Sanitary Building Construction at Primary Schools (Tanzania), in partnership with Children of the Wilderness; Multimedia & Digital Skills for San Pancho Community (Mexico), in partnership with Entreamigos; and Creating Change for Women (Indonesia), in partnership with Planeterra.
“We are proud to have made a difference in 2025 by building new classrooms, three technology hubs, a community center, and providing educational and professional skills training for over 5,000 community members in 13 countries,” Sharpe said.
Travel Elevates has raised over $2 million and awarded 31 grants since 2021.
“As donations continue to grow, we can expand the Travel Elevates’ grant funding to reach several more community projects, impacting countless lives and creating meaningful, positive change,” said Gary Murphy, chairman of the Travel Elevates board.
