Tauck will host a river cruise retreat for women in travel this fall.
The special 7-day sailing, called “Cruise Control,” will take place from November 4-10 on the Danube River. Participants interested in personal and professional growth can enjoy speaker presentations, wellness sessions, networking opportunities and social gatherings during the voyage.
The voyage will be hosted aboard Tauck’s MS Savor riverboat, sailing from Budapest to Vienna.
“Cruise Control will delve into the unique challenges faced by women in travel while providing actionable strategies for success,” says Jennifer Tombaugh, chief executive officer of Tauck. “We’ll also celebrate some of the many incredible accomplishments of the industry leaders who will be joining us as speakers and panelists, all while sharing in an enriching and memorable exploration of cities and cultural sites along the Danube.”
Tombaugh will join the sailing, along with “Below Deck” superyacht captain Sandy Yawn, personal branding coach and author Hannah Power and psychotherapist and author Niro Feliciano.
Additional speakers include midlife and menopause expert Jackie Giannelli (FNP-BC, MSCP), McCabe World Travel founder and chief executive Damian McCabe, and AI expert and Approach Guides founder Jennifer Raezer. Also in attendance will be transformational consultant Leslie Hershberger and Cary Perkins, a level 2 authorized Ashtanga yoga instructor.
Cruise Control’s hosts will be Kelly Bigel, senior director of field and inside sales at Silversea and Steve Spivak, Tauck’s vice president of global sales and customer experience. Sponsors include Silversea, United Airlines, Approach Guides and Tauck.
“Although our programming is being crafted for women, Cruise Control is open to women and their male allies alike,” says Tombaugh. “Gentlemen attendees will gain a new understanding of the challenges and opportunities their spouses’ or partners’ are encountering in the workplace, while women attending with a female friend or colleague are sure to enjoy some fun and spirited conversations about their shared experience at Cruise Control.”
