The start of a new year means a fresh travel industry event calendar.
From spring and summer conferences to holiday season awards galas, 2026 boasts a loaded lineup poised to present travel professionals with opportunities to expand their knowledge, expertise, and all-important connections with cohort and suppliers.
Here are the top travel industry events that travel professionals won’t want to miss in 2026.
January
This January will be a particularly exciting month for travel advisors as the inaugural ASTA Globes will honor some of the industry’s best and brightest at the Palmer House in Chicago on January 22.
The first-ever Globes will coincide with Northstar’s Global Travel Marketplace (GTM) Luxury invitation-only experience taking place at the JW Marriott LA LIVE from January 22-24.

What’s more, one of the year’s biggest events arrives early with the FITUR international tourism trade fair opening up in Madrid, Spain, from January 21-25. Meanwhile, the highly anticipated New York Travel & Adventure Show returns to the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center January 24-25.
Before New York, the Travel & Adventure Show will make stops in Seattle (January 10-11) and Washington, D.C. (January 17-18).
February
The International Inbound Travel Association (IITA) will host its 2026 Summit in Niagara Falls, New York, from February 8-11. Considered a premier sales and educational event, the event will offer inbound operators, suppliers, and DMOs ample time for networking, industry insights, and key meetings.
One month after FITUR takes over Spain’s central capital, Madrid will host the 2026 Virtuoso Impact Summit thought leadership gathering at The Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel, from February 24-27.
February will also see the Travel & Adventure Show pass through Phoenix (February 14-15), Chicago (February 21-22), and Fort Lauderdale, Florida (February 28-March 1).
March

The world’s leading travel trade show, ITB Berlin, will mark its 60th anniversary in Germany from March 3-5. This year’s event will focus on “Leading Tourism into Balance.”
Travel professionals will also have three opportunities to attend the Travel & Adventure Show in March, including in Los Angeles (March 7-8), Santa Clara, California (March 21-22), and Dallas, Texas (March 28-29).
March will also feature the annual ASTA River Cruise Expo, which is once again sold out and will take place in Amsterdam, Netherlands, from March 11-15.
April
The Travel & Adventure Show will conclude its U.S. tour in Denver at the Colorado Convention Center, featuring appearances by a trio of travel celebrities: Pauline Frommer, Peter Greenberg, and Andrew McCarthy, on April 11 and 12.
One day later, Seatrade Cruise Global will commence in Miami Beach, Florida, drawing close to 12,000 attendees, 650-plus exhibitors, and more than 75 cruise line brands from April 13-16.

2026’s Virtuoso Symposium, a high-level business event for Virtuoso agency leaders and executive-level partners, will be held at the Conrad Seoul in Seoul, South Korea, from April 15-19.
Later, ASTA members will head to Washington, D.C., and make their voices heard on Capitol Hill during the organization’s annual Legislative Day on April 20-21.
May
Among the many highlights of May will be the return of ASTA’s Travel Advisor Conference, a cornerstone event for the organization that will take place after Memorial Day Weekend in San Diego, California, from May 27-29.
However, the month will begin with another marquee industry event in San Diego, with Travel Leaders Network’s 2026 EDGE Conference being held inside the Gaylord Pacific Resort & Convention Center from May 3-6.
May will also see U.S. Travel’s IPW event head to Greater Fort Lauderdale, Florida, from May 17-21. This year’s international inbound marketplace will feature five days of insightful appointments, learning and networking opportunities, and signature events.

Also occurring this month, Antigua and Barbuda will host the 44th iteration of the Caribbean Travel Marketplace (CTM) conference, which is scheduled for May 12-15.
Finally, Canada’s primary tourism marketplace, Rendez-vous Canada, is scheduled for May 26-29, in Toronto, Ontario.
June
June will kick off with TravelAge West’s annual WAVE Awards at The Ritz-Carlton Marina del Rey in Southern California on June 4.
The Romance Travel Forum will move from Cancun, Mexico, to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, in 2026, being held at the Hard Rock Hotel Punta Cana from June 15-19.
July
Shortly after the U.S. celebrates its 250th birthday, travel leaders will descend on South Florida, specifically the Diplomat Beach Resort in Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood, to attend the appointment-only GTM North America by Northstar from July 9-11.
August
Another awesome year of GTM events will conclude with GTM West at the La Quinta Resort & Club in Palm Springs, California, from August 4-6.

Virtuoso Travel Week will descend on Las Vegas from August 8-14, with requests to attend opening in mid-February.
Later in the month, ASTA’s Caribbean Showcase will head to St. Kitts for immersive site tours and supplier access from August 22-26. At the same time, Northstar’s Future Leaders in Travel event, uniquely designed to connect the next generation of travel buyers and sellers, will land in Riviera Maya, Mexico, from August 25-28.
September

Nexion Travel Group is determined to “keep it weird” by bringing its annual CoNexion event to Austin, Texas, ahead of Labor Day weekend from September 2-4.
Summer will conclude with ASTA’s Travel Masters golf event in Adare Manor, Ireland, from September 15-18. The unique invitation-only forum is designed for senior advisors and their partners.
October
IMEX America 2026 will bring the travel industry’s collective attention to Las Vegas when the trade show opens at Mandalay Bay, from October 13-15. The excitement begins a day earlier with specialist education on October 12.

ASTA’s busy year will conclude in the Mile High City with the Corporate Executive Forum and Premium Business Summit arriving in Denver October 14-16.
November
November begins with a bang in 2026, starting with World Travel Market (WTM) London happening November 3-5.
That same week, the Travvy Awards will turn 12, with this year’s lavish gala celebrating winners across the industry inside the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on November 5.

WTM London and the Travvys will coincide with CruiseWorld, which will reward attendees with educational workshops, general sessions, ship tours, and a trademark exhibitor showcase in South Florida from November 4-6 this year.
Ahead of Thanksgiving, the industry’s power players will once again converge on Fort Lauderdale for Northstar’s annual Phocuswright Conference from November 17-19.
December
What’s poised to be another banner year for the travel industry will culminate with the USTOA Annual Conference & Marketplace, which returns to the West Coast in 2026. Attendees will be invited to network, learn, and show off at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis from November 30 to December 4.
