Travel Planners International Travel (TPI) and Tern, a travel technology platform, are partnering to eradicate advisor work redundancies such as duplicate data entry and logging bookings into their CMS and again into their host agency’s back-office systems.
“That redundant work eats into selling time, creates reconciliation errors and delays in commission tracking,” TPI said.
When the integration goes live in mid-December, advisors “using Tern will have their bookings sync automatically to TPI’s back office,” the host agency said.
With many advisors using different systems for client management and commission processing, the integration will also seamlessly track both entities.
“Host agency systems handle commission splits, supplier reporting and payouts,” TPI said. “Without integration, advisors become the bridge between the two, manually entering the same information in multiple places.”
“The cost isn’t just time,” TPI added. “Double entry introduces human error, creating reconciliation headaches that delay commission visibility and complicate financial planning.”
