While many stars shone bright at the 2025 Travvy Awards, one
of the night’s biggest highlights was the car rental industry’s success.
During the 11th annual Travvy Awards, which took place on
November 6 at the Greater Fort Lauderdale Broward County Convention Center, the
Northstar Travel Group’s TravelPulse.com and AGENTatHOME presented a series of
awards to the top car rental companies.
In the domestic car rental category, Enterprise Rent-A-Car
took home the gold statuette, Hertz the silver, and Avis Budget Group rounded
out the top three with a bronze Travvy Award.
As for the car rental companies that thrived in the
international markets, Hertz earned the top prize and took home the gold, while
Enterprise finished second in the voting, and Sixt earned its first award of
the night.
Hertz also took home the gold statuette in the best overall
car rental category, followed by Enterprise earning the silver and Avis Budget
Group winning its second bronze of the night.
“Looking around at the industry leaders gathered here,
it’s clear that travel has entered a new golden age defined by boldness and
relentless quality,” remarked Eric Bowman, Editor-in-Chief of TravelPulse.
“The 11th Annual Travvy Awards is a sacred moment for us—a chance to truly
spotlight the companies, destinations, and people who aren’t just meeting
demand, but elevating the entire experience.”
“Their commitment to excellence, innovation, and service is
the engine driving our passion, and these trophies represent the highest honor
that our readers—the travel advisors—can bestow,” Bowman concluded.
The award ceremony has become an important part of the
industry, thanks to the winners being selected by travel advisors and agents. Over
300 Travvy statuettes were handed out to the winning destinations,
hotels/resorts, cruise lines, tour operators, and car rental companies that
delivered the highest quality experiences.
