On the heels of launching its “Families on the Fly” campaign, TSA is offering discounted PreCheck enrollment for traveling families.
Now through October 31, travelers can enroll in TSA PreCheck and get $15 off the second enrollment for a family member, friend or anyone (just mention the family discount to qualify) when they sign up together through authorized enrollment provider, IDEMIA.
Large families or groups can save even more, as a family of four signing up simultaneously can save $30, for example.
TSA PreCheck enrollment provided by IDEMIA costs $76.75 and covers five years of membership, so the savings are significant.
To qualify, enrollees must be doing so for the first time, as renewals are not eligible. They must also sign up at the same IDEMIA enrollment location at the same time on the same day.
“For over 12 years, we’ve proudly enrolled travelers in TSA PreCheck, the gold standard in airport efficiency. With families benefiting tremendously from TSA PreCheck, and personally witnessing the stress of traveling with family firsthand, we are honored to partner with TSA on this latest initiative,” Lisa Shoemaker, SVP, Global Corporate Relations, IDEMIA Public Security, said in a statement.
“Together with TSA, we’re making travel more accessible and less overwhelming for parents and kids alike.”
The latest discount comes after the launch of TSA’s “Serve with Honor, Travel with Ease” campaign, which offers a $25 discount on TSA PreCheck enrollment and renewals for currently serving military spouses.
