Halloween
Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood has announced even more torturous
debauchery to the lineup with iconic horror film “Poltergeist,” “Terror Tram:
Enter the BlumHouse” and fire-fueled stunt show, “The Purge: Dangerous Waters.”
Along with four sinister scare zones, these additions round
out the popular 2025 event running select nights from Thursday, September 4 to
Sunday, November 2.
Poltergeist
Amazon MGM Studios’ 1982 supernatural cult classic will
bring guests ‘into the light’ in a haunted
house that transports guests into nightmarish scenes with terrifying
characters from the movie, including the iconic Freeling family home.
Terror Tram: Enter the Blumhouse
Located on the historic Universal backlot, this attraction
enables visitors to disembark the Studio Tour tram to encounter some of the
most iconic villains from Blumhouse’s horror franchises over the past 15 years,
including The Grabber from “The Black Phone,” the possessed from “The Exorcist:
Believer,” the diabolical M3GAN ruthless killers from “The Purge” franchise,
Blissfield Butch from “Freaky” and Babyface Killer from “Happy Death Day,”
among others.
Guests upgrading their Halloween Horror Nights Experience by
purchasing the R.I.P. Tour will also have an opportunity to meet and scream
with select characters on Terror Tram.
The Purge: Dangerous Waters
This stunt show returning to the WaterWorld venue takes
guests on a fiery, rocket-fueled adventures as they fight to survive the night.
Scare Zones
Horror fans will encounter four zones that include dodging a
troop of chainsaw killers in “Chainsaw Clownz” and escaping a maniacal fun
house in “Carnival of Carnage.”
After surviving this year’s haunted house, “Monstruous 3:
The Ghosts of Latin America,” guests will stumble upon a dimly lit street to
brave the “Noche de Brujas” scare zone. The ever-popular “Murder of Crowz”
flocks back to Halloween Horror Nights and will do anything to defend their
nest.
