Residential cruise line Villa Vie Residences has unveiled a new flexible way to live aboard its ship, the Villa Vie Odyssey.
Starting at $2,999 per person per month, the new Month-to-Month at Sea program lets travelers try out the residential cruise line lifestyle without making a long-term commitment, while still earning rent-to-own credit toward future ownership.
“You asked, we listened,” says Kathy Villalba, chief executive officer of Villa Vie Residences. “Month-to-month living at sea is here. Flexible rentals with a built-in rent-to-own pathway—so we can meet you where you are in life. It’s your time, your terms, your next chapter at sea.”
The new offering joins the line’s one-week Try Before You Buy program and its one-year trial program. Now, travelers can commit by the month, keep their life on land and work toward ownership as the ship sails around the world every three-and-a-half-years.
As part of the new program, $500 of the monthly rent is credited toward the future purchase of a permanent villa or Golden Passport.
“This program is about flexibility and accessibility,” says Mikael Petterson, founder and chairman of Villa Vie Residences. “Guests can experience the lifestyle without a long commitment, and we reward them with a clear pathway to ownership. It’s the best of both worlds.”
