The cornerstone of this seasonal transformation is the “Winter Is Alive” campaign, which encompasses more than 1,000 events and experiences spread across seven major destinations, including Riyadh, Jeddah, AlUla, the Red Sea, and beyond.
This comprehensive program, launched by the Saudi Tourism Authority, represents a tripling of specialized events compared to its previous year and includes more than 500 exclusive offers designed to attract both regional and international visitors.

At the heart of the event lineup lies Riyadh Season, one of the world’s largest entertainment festivals.
This year’s edition features 14 distinct zones around the capital, each offering unique attractions ranging from global music performances and WWE Crown Jewel to stand-up comedy with international stars like Martin Lawrence.
Boulevard World operates around the clock, hosting more than 300 restaurants, 1,400 shops and cultural installations that bring global destinations to life.
The Kingdom Arena and other venues showcase everything from major boxing matches to immersive fashion exhibitions, including a display of over 500 archived couture pieces from renowned design houses.
AlUla emerges as perhaps the most distinctive winter highlight.

Winter at Tantora, running from mid-December through early January, honors the region’s traditional sundial that historically marked the winter planting season.
Today’s festival blends that agricultural heritage with contemporary offerings, including the Ancient Kingdoms Festival, which presents live theatrical performances, art installations and culinary showcases celebrating civilizations from the Nabataeans to the Lihyanites.

The Saudi Tourism Authority has simplified access through expanded visa programs now covering 66 countries, instant eVisas for holders of UK, US or Schengen visas, and a 96-hour stopover visa.
